Venereal Disease Research Laboratory (VDRL) Kit

The VDRL test is a blood test used to detect syphilis, a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the bacterium Treponema pallidum. It identifies nontreponemal antibodies (reagin antibodies) that the body produces in response to substances released by cells damaged by the infection.
